rock stars....Derek Stumfall
President
Skills: International business management & development
Experience: Derek has over 20 years of international product, business development and operations management experience in media, internet services, financial services, and hospitality. He has worked extensively in over 50 countries. While at Westcott Communications, one of the early leaders in distance education, he did strategy and new business development. Stumfall later joined United Press International where he led sales and marketing for the Asia Pacific division, progressing to General Manager for the region, overseeing 40 news bureaus.
Dan Kardell
Director of Technology
Skills: Kids technology guru, makes the glue that holds it all together
Experience: Dan’s development experience in fortune 500 companies in technical and project management gives GeoWhiz the one up on producing content. Dan has exposure to client server platforms as well as mobile application development. Working for companies like Placid Oil, Pepsico, IBM and an Apple Developer ensures that our platform is the best of all breeds. Working with cutting edge technology is what Dan strives to master and with it, will lead the development of GeoWhiz to all platforms.
Shiven Malhotra
Creative Design / Production Manager
Skills: Creative content design, game play and adventures
Experience: Produce and manage assets and game play for GeoWhiz. Shiven’s insight into trending game play in the market and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment makes him an integral asset to the team.
Jennifer Foster

Skills: Making sure people know all the good stuff about us; ensures successful enterprise marketing implementations
Experience: Jennifer’s been helping good companies talk about great products for nearly 20 years. Her experience spans some of the country’s leading healthcare and non-profit companies like CVS Caremark and the American Heart Association. Her passion is taking complicated ideas and creating simplified value propositions out of them. Additionally, she has extensive experience in developing operational processes that yield great customer experiences; thus helping small, growing companies think, learn and adapt like Fortune 15 companies do.
Terry W. Tandy

Experience: Terry’s 35 years career in the travel, tourism and hospitality sector has included operations, sales and marketing, training and consulting. He has successfully brought products and services to corporations, associations, incentive groups, tour operators and international hotel chains. Fluent in Japanese, Terry has initiated and led sales and marketing campaigns in Japan, the Pacific Rim, Middle East, and Europe. His keen networking skills, rapport with clients, and detailed follow-on execution has earned him long-term respect and relationships with “C-level” executives throughout the global hospitality sector.
KJ Burleson

Experience: “KJ” is our resident genius. With an earned doctorate in instructional technology, she helps add meaningful value to our content and functionality while maintaining the fun. KJ has designed and developed training solutions for schools, corporations and foundations. She actively volunteers for numerous philanthropic organizations by using her skills to create educational solutions in inner-city in the US and schools in eastern Europe and Central America.
